Marrakech - 700,000 people, the third largest city and tourist capital of Morocco, who will celebrate his 1000th candle 2062 I think a few days in the fall, a long weekend in five to six days, and here is the list of things I would have wanted to do or see there. If you have other recommendations, please feel free :).

1/ 9 Must See Marrakech

1 Koutoubia Mosque - the very symbol of Marrakech, the church building must, whose name means "The Mosque of the booksellers," and to which the Moroccans turn to prayer
2.-Ben Youssef Madrasa - the Koranic school in Marrakech, the most recognized of all Maghr
3 Jemaa el Fna - the center of the city, where snake charmers, acrobats and tattoo artists, restaurateurs street attract a large crowd, which then redirects to the souks and small stalls marabouts and their teeth .
4. Saadian tombs - a royal necropolis where we learn a little more about the history of the area
5. Majorelle Gardens - the most beautiful botanical garden in the city
6 The Bahia Palace - a palace princess about 160 flat made to believe in the Thousand and One Nights
7 The Museum of Marrakech
8. Menara garden - the largest olive grove in the city that spans more than one hundred hectares just outside the city, perfect for a morning stroll, walk or picnic
9 The Dar Si Said Museum - which showcases the Moroccan craft

2 / Stop at Karma Coffee

The place just opened its doors - in the middle of the Avenue Mohammed VI, the main artery of the city, the place wants to be the new cafe Flora Marrakech, intellectual crossroads where political conversations more enthusiastic alongside a large library and an art gallery are on permanent sculptures, drawings, paintings. Showcase of Moroccan arts scene is there, we will find the most contemporary Morocco and, perhaps, the Morocco of tomorrow.

3 / (Re) make a trip to Ouarzazate

The time of day, time for a little weekend review the Sarho I discovered last year. Check out this article!

4 / All About Saffron

This is probably one of my favorite spices - and most expensive in the world. Saffron, which Morocco is a major producer nations, requires 150,000 crocus flowers to get 1kg of spice.

Around Marrakech, it is possible to visit several saffron like Ourika where tourists can take a walk in the fields and workshops where employees work.

"Paradise Safran, on the road to Ourika Marrakech, is a biological saffron run by a friendly Swiss woman, in love with Morocco, Christine Ferrari. We learn all about saffron and medicinal and aromatic plants. Gardens for a walk full of flavor, with commentary by the hostess. An ideal place for lovers of nature and peace "according to the website http://www.madein-marrakech.com/

5 / Getting lost in the souks

Where more than 40,000 artisans every day.

6 / Make the ascent of Jebel Toubkal

The culmination of the High Atlas and the northern top of 4167 meters Africa, 63 km south of Marrakech. To see a piece of Morocco which was not used to think, to find a sanctuary for the Berber culture and the opportunity to learn a little more about this minority. The climb is not difficult and trekkers find materials, guides or excursions easily.
